FOOD SERVICE HELPER  - 10 Month - Part-Time

Primary School 3.75 hrs/day (9:30 a.m. - 1:15 p.m.)

 

SALARY:  PER CSEA CONTRACT -   $16.75/HOUR

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:     

• Assist in the preparation of food portions and prepare cafeteria serving line;
• Serve students and staff from the cafeteria line;
• Remove used dishes and assist in the cleaning of counters, plates, pots, and other kitchen utensils;
• Assist the Cook Manager with completion of daily recording, including production records;
• May include cashier duties and related daily reports;
• Perform related duties as required, including duties at special functions; and
• Must be able to do bending and lift up toe 30 lbs.

 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: 

Must meet Civil Service Requirements.  Knowledge of the proper method of serving foods and the care of tableware, glassware, utensils and kitchen appliances; knowledge of modern cleaning equipment, methods and supplies; ability to follow simple oral and written directions; capable of performing the essential functions of the position with or without reasonable accommodation.
